Hello Everyone
I hope you enjoyed my last blog about my first blogger event. I am still on a lovely buzz from the day and am so happy to have made some new friends.
Here is one of my most requested blog’s, so today I thought I would share it with you! For a while I have been changing my routine around, trying out new products and now I am happy to find that these products are really working for me. I am going to break this post into two parts; simply because it would be too long! So without further a due, grab yourself a cuppa, sit back and enjoy this Morning Skin Care post!
Firstly I should tell you my skin type which is dehydrated/normal skin. I am quite lucky in the sense that I rarely get and blemishes or spots on my skin unless it’s hormonal. At the moment my skin experienced a bit of a break out around my mouth. Unfortunately, I know the reason why. Three weeks ago I tried out a face wash that I was a bad experience with before. For some reason I decided to give it another go and BAM I was reminded once again that my skin didn’t agree with it.

To start off my morning, I usually come down stairs in my pyjamas and make a nice strong cup of coffee to wake up before I even try to face the world. Ha!! Usually my eyes are puffy mainly due to staying up on YouTube/Instagram and twitter. So the first thing I do it grab a muslin cloth and dap my eyes with cold water. Believe me girls this does work - I am not crazy!
My current morning cleanser is the “Soap & Glory Peaches and Clean 3-in-1 Wash-off Cleanser,” it is so fresh and smells like peaches. It helps to purify the skin and helps boost circulation. I am a big fan of Soap & Glory, each product smells amazing and is so affordable. I pump two dollops of the cleanser onto my face and massage in then remove with a damp muslin cloth.
Some mornings when time is off the essences, and i don’t have much time I take my “Garnier Miscellar Cleansing Water” and give my face a quick wipe.

I am a big believer in serums the help moister the skin deep down through the layers of your epidermis. Once you start using a serum you won’t go back. My morning serum is one I have been using for a few months and believe it is the reason people are telling me my “skin is glowing”. Whether or not that is true, I firmly believe the “Super Facialist by Una Brennen Vitamin C + Glow Boost Skin Serum” has a lot to do with it. It aims to “plump, vibrant and glowing skin for any age group and every skin type”. This product doesn’t leave your skin tacky; just lovely and moisturised.
“La Roche-Posay Effaclar Dou +” is a new entry into my routine thanks to the lovely Cara Pharmacy. This is an acne treatment even though I do not have acne I do have a few of the spots that I was telling you about earlier. Instead of using it all over my face, I only use it on particular areas. Since using this I have notice the red marks and previous scaring on my skin have decreased. I would recommend this to anyone suffering with acne to give it a go.

This shall be no surprise to you that my moisturiser is the “Estée Lauder Day Wear”, I have been using this for over a year now and find that is has helped my skin in so many ways. With SPF 15 it also helps to protect my skin from harmful UV rays. It is a light weight fluid that isn’t heavily feeling under your make-up.
I hope this post was helpful! Let me know what your favourite skin care products are as I love to try some new ones out. Also my evening skin care routine will be up in on friday! :)
Until next time
