Looking for some Make Up inspiration for the biggest party night of the year? Well ladies, I thought I would share the make-up look that I love this festive season.
To start off the look I used my Favourite night time base which is “Mac Studio Fix Foundation” in the shade NC30 this is the perfect match for my Cocoa Brown Tan. This Foundation is pretty much full coverage but gives that beautiful glow to your skin. What I love most about this base is that it can withstand any element you are going to face on a night out without the need of a touch up! Than giving my face that contoured look I used Mac “harmony”, for an added glow I took a small amount of Nars “Orgasm” blusher on the apples of my cheeks and for my brows I used my Soap & Glory “The Archery”.
I couldn’t go out this party season without my red lips courtesy of Mac. I used “Cherry” lip liner to give my lips added definition along with “Ruby Woo” lipstick. This combination is AMAZING!!
Now onto the eyes the main feature to any make-up look. Most of the products I used are Urban Decay simply because I have fallen back in love with the Naked 2 palette. If you are looking for a go-to palette I would highly recommend this palette as it has the right amount of shades that you will need to achieve a good smokey eye. Firstly I applied the Urban Decay “Eyeshadow Primer Potion” to give me a more vibrant crease-free colour that will last the whole night. For my based I used the shade “Foxy” from the Naked 2 palette and blended that all over my lid, in the crease I used “Tease” and then a beautiful gold shimmer I took “Half Baked” onto the centre of my lid and to my inner corner. For a bit of definition I added black liquid liner and some Eyelure Lashes.
I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know if you recreated this look for tonight! I hope you all have a lovely New Years and see you guys in 2015.
Until next time
