We all know that good make up starts with a good base. Now this post is not going to tell you to run out and get a skin peel...NO! Here are some steps to achieving naturally glowing skin.
1. Exfoliation
This is the easiest and fastest way to get healthy looking skin, as long as you don’t overdo it. Start by gently exfoliating your t-zone 2-3 times a week. Within the first week you will sure to notice a different.
2. Serum
I think people may tend to forget the importance of serums. So here’s a little reminder. After taking all the moisture out of your skin you need to replace it with the good stuff. Serums help moister deep into every layer of your epidermis that your moisturiser cannot reach. Try using a serum with added Vitamin E. The antioxidants will remove the free radicals which damage the cell structure of the face/body. Also Vitamin E helps repair scaring left on the skin from blemishes.
3. Moisturiser
A good moisturiser is like a good friend... Ok not exactly but they come pretty close! Find a good moisturiser that works for your skin and gives it what your skin needs. Sticking in a moister boost mask once a week also will help your skin nice and hydrated.
4. Hydration
It’s not a myth ladies, keeping yourself hydrated has many benefits including maintaining moister levels in your skin. Also cut down on the amount of caffeine as it actually dehydrates your body. Give it a try, drink 2 litres of water a day and notice your skin becoming visibly bright and fresh.
Hope this was helpful ladies.
Until next time,
